It would likely result in many deaths. Though Korea has some nuclear weapons, they don't have a proven capability to launch them far if at all. They could try to hit South Korea or China or possibly just use them in their own country if they realize they are going to lose. Rebuilding the country and locking down all the nuclear weapons would be a ridiculously huge job in any event.

3. Has weapons of many kinds pointed directly at South Korea and Japan which they would use at the slightest wiff of an invasion.

4. Is allied with China.

USA.

2. Has already massively overspent on wars in the middle east.

3. Would not be able to raise the necessary troops without a draft. Which would be hugely unpopular.

3. Owes huge amounts of money to China so cannot afford to police another country without further credit.

China.

1. Has Nuclear Weapons.

2. Has the western world addicted to cheap consumer novelties  and strangled by debt.

3. Though sometimes annoyed by it is still allied to North Korea.

4. Has an enormous military and the funds to use it.

Mars

1. Has tripod walking machines armed with the black smoke and the heat ray and the capsules to deliver them.

2. Spreads Red Weed on landing which chokes the ecology of the planet.

3. Have no political affiliations only a thirst for blood.

4. Seemingly impervious to nuclear armaments though are vulnerable to biological weapons.
