I do want this thread to have discussion, just not argument. I think political updates would be best in the other thread, but even if they are here and could be discussed politically, I don't mind as long as it's simply a little discussion. But if it starts to turn into a debate, that's where I feel the thread has lost its original purpose. So the new name will largely be the same as the original, with some clarification.

I have no idea how to feel about this. It hits close to home (our baby had a different extra chromosome) but not having a child grow up with the condition, I can only speculate from the outside on how these parents would feel.

Should jurors be able to understand English?
It's a little funny that the man convicted of murder was appealing on the basis that they should have kept a juror who didn't speak English.
