It can be used for any topic, as long as it simply is informative or expressive, but not argumentative.
Most of us are shocked and horrified at the news of the gunman in CT shooting and killing 28 people, most of them 6 and 7 years old. It truly breaks my heart. As I've made no secret of my religious affiliation, and as I feel an affinity to others of my faith, it is worth noting that one of the children comes from an LDS family. I am saddened by the loss of all those who died, but it feels extra personal when one of them the same church as you do, even if it was a thousand miles away.

What if this had happened at her school? Why, how could some one do this? And now I hear that the Westboro Baptist nuts want to protest there. What is wrong with society?

They anger me terribly. And sadly, the attention they get also feeds their protests. God does not send evil people. The God they believe in is not the God of love I read about in the Bible.

I watch that show all the time. This is not the first time some has lost because they did not pronounce the solution correctly. I have seen it happen multiple times because the didn't say the 's' at the end of a plural word.

I've been following the story about the New Dehli rape, but there are other stories as well. I know that rape has been around for thousands of years, but of all the barbarity of humanity, this horrifies me the most, and it's still prevalent in many parts of the world. It makes me very sad.

Maybe I just don't like high school football players, but it takes a certain type of person to do that to someone. Even worse is that the city just wants to sweep it under the rug. This girl was raped and they just expect it to go away.

So I turned on my TV to the news last night they talked about this guy who had robbed some people and was in possession of 10 million dollars worth of cocaine. Then they had some other story. Then they talked about this other dude who stole some stuff and had possession of 25 million dollars worth of general narcotics. It's like the news people took tips from James Gordon in terms of reporting.
