The final version will be in HD, but due to storage limits on Vimeo for free accounts I could only upload an SD version.

"darth endeor was a meanyhead" - FatherSkywalker, et al--QFTThis is good. This is what the PT could have been. I'll definitely keep an eye on this thread :)
The ROTJ collaborative thread is a wealth of ideas, both on how to edit Return of the Jedi, as well as how to collaborate in an edit. Emanswfan has taken leadership of the project.

A very rough edit of how the Battle of Endor could go
A very rough idea of how ROTJ could end
Rough edit based on the final script with some deviation:

The CobblerI'm really sorry, I like Ashoka fine as a character, but the early days of her voice acting are kinda, eh?

Is this intended as a new way to view CW, or as a potential alternative to the PT?

I like the sound of this! I'm looking forward to seeing how the whole episode flows once it's finished. Which stories do you plan to use? (unless you're keeping that to yourself for now!) And do you plan on using stories from the whole run or, for example, just the first couple of seasons?

The changes that George Lucas has made over the years to Star Wars is the equivalent of someone keying your car. On an intellectual level, you know that the car still works, and its only marred a fraction of a percent of the paintjob. On an emotional level, every time you see it, it's all you can focus on, and it makes you want to rip someone's face off.

Look at the picture to see what the XB is MarioXB stands for!I've only seen one or two episodes of this "The Clone Wars". I haven't checked out your edit yet, but I still prefer the old 2D animated series from the Dexter's Lab guy that came out between episodes 2 and 3 and I think it makes a good episode 2.5. I wonder why the old "Clone Wars" (old series without "The") was "retconned" or whatever?

The CobblerWell, if someone can make anything of this The Clone Wars series, I'll be thankful. The retcon of the 2003 series was one of the worst things to happen in recent Star Wars history. I loved that show.

Curse you all, you should have caught me!Was the 2003 retconned out of existence? If the two are mutually exclusive, I'll take the Samurai Jack style cartoon any day.

enthusiastI really love both series. Genndy Tartakovsky's certainly felt alot more OT though. I wasn't sure if it was a retcon, as the entire CG series was pretty late in the CW. Its a shame it wasn't a total retcon in a way, as seeing anakin's knighthood in the CG series would have been great for fanedits.

Well, considering how many differences there are (namely Asajj Ventress dying in the original cartoon and being the main villain in the new show.) I think it's safe to say that either this new series either cancels out the old one or is meant to be standalone.
By the way, Mr. thunderclap, will you be keeping the plot of the pilot, or will you be using a storyline from the TV series?

enthusiastI assumed that her death wasn't retconned, but they suggested she survived, they do talk about her having revenge against skywalker.
