I especially enjoy the title, which implies he will someday come back for another YAGE.

Man, that thread brings back memories. I really miss WESHALLPRESERVE, that kid was really cool.

I didn't know WESHALLPRESERVE.  How old was he?

Yeah, that's a pretty good idea. Lock/unlock it as needed to alert as to why someone was banned, or something along those lines.

I think we all like this idea.  Someone should suggest it to a mod...

Despite Obi Jeewhyen's bizarre departure, he was usually a great poster on the SW forum. His penchant for the word "frelling" never grew on me, I'll admit.

I agree.  I was always quite fond of the guy.  Too bad things kinda exploded on that front.  I was quite sad to see him go.

EDIT:  Eh, and I gotta say, I don't really miss WESHALLPRESERVE.  Rereading his posts gave me a headache, as well as his penchant for declaring his age every other sentence.  I guess he'd be pushing 18 now.  Oh, and this argument was brought to you by a soon to be 24 year old.  Aren't I so amazing at math for someone so young? =P

There is no lingerie in space...

C3PX said: Gaffer is like that hot girl in high school that you think you have a chance with even though she is way out of your league because she is sweet and not a stuck up bitch who pretends you don't exist... then one day you spot her making out with some skinny twerp, only on second glance you realize it is the goth girl who always sits in the back of class; at that moment it dawns on you why she is never seen hanging off the arm of any of the jocks... and you realize, damn, she really is unobtainable after all. Not that that is going to stop you from dreaming... Only in this case, Gaffer is actually a guy.

Is it me, or are people with sceen names that are variations of "Obi Wan Kenobi" doomed to be trouble?

Well, I think it's variants of names that end in "i" like "Kenobi" or "xhonzi"

Whoa, what hornets nest did i curiously jab at this time?

Although for once, i can understand the bolloticks here......this time....i think.

Although for the life of me i cant abriviate Obi Wan Kenobi with my user name no matter how hard im tryin to work out the way things work on the forums recently.

I actually did have a forum etiquette that i did try to impose once that didnt push the envilope in the opposite direction until almost recently.

2) The mods changing of Zig's second set of links

3) Cat and cereal box pictures (one of the many inspirations for my "This Thread is About..." thread)

4) Broomo aka chewbacca (Nigerian email scam/Borat)

5) Sir Azzweepay Ridiculouso Von Dipshit IIII

6) RemixerBoss

Ahh...good times.  Special section added for zig/ingo/remixer.

I've just finished reading the Total Biscuit Archive and I haven't laughed so hard in decades.

Someone should write a book of this stuff or turn it into a film because come the inevitable giant robot man-eating plant Vs radioactive starfish monster war starts and the internets are wiped free, all the cockroach descended life forms will have to read of this period of human history will be the warnings on styrofoam cups.

I've never seen a bug laugh it's moobs off and I'm rather warming to the notion.

More gold from Zigfried. This one is especially noteworthy because it gave us a classic quote:

"I hereby declare this site uninteresting. I've already gotten everything I need from here, and now I'm happy. Therefore, I leave you now and go back to where I truly belong."

Every time he made a thread from then on, someone would inevitably quote this post.

I don't how I'd classify the following - you're the chronicler, Mr. Frink.

First came this thread. About a week later came this thread. Then came a third thread. A couple of days after that came this thread, followed by this thread. I wonder if I missed any?

So...?

EDIT -  TheCassidy's departure: Name, Rank, and Serial Number

I'll have to think about these. I love the disregard stuff so I'm sure that makes the list in some manner.  TheCassidy's departure would have been funnier if he did it in real time instead of editing his posts later.  As it stands it's a bit dry to read now.

Ziggy's famous "this site is uninteresting" speech is truly a wonderful thing.  It can be used in all sorts of situations.

I tried to write something out but it just wasn't translating.  Maybe it's one of those deals where you either get him or you don't?  Anyway, he's insulting, but typically only to those who deserve it, and usually in an entertaining manner.  Wish I could explain better.

Added Moth3r's Ingo link.  I was working on new sections (Train Wrecks, Fun Stuff, and Ingo/Zig/RB), when the forum claimed I was over the 64,000 word limit.  I've posted a bug report.

imo, Dinkins is insulting  only to those he thinks deserve it.   There can be a difference between those he thinks deserve it and those that actually deserve it.

Whenever I've been insulting to people,  I've always felt guilty about it later.  Sometimes it can take longer than others,  but I've always come to feel guilty about it.  This is why I've promised myself never to be insulting again.   It just doesn't feel right to me.   It probably had to do with all the teasing I had to endure at school when I was a kid.   I guess this is probably why it is difficult for me to understand Dinkins.

All good points, Warbler.  I do recall a few posts where I thought Stinky was out of line, but usually it seemed like fair game.
