For a man of your advanced years, you have a memory like an iron clamp. I made the darn thread and had forgotten about it!

I didn't remember that thread specifically, I just vaguely remembered a similar discussion in the past.  And Google was my friend.

This is challenging because of the relative youth of the actors in "Star Wars." Hugh Jackman or Gerard Butler might be very Han-ish, but they're both a bit long in the tooth these days.

Palpatine : Alanis Morissette

Palpatine's voice : Clive Revill, or if he's too old, Anthony Hopkins

And no, I am not joking about Alanis.

God doesn't think in terms of black or white - or even shades of gray - but in big, bright, bold hues of blue and orange.

The only other person who could do Tarkin is Bill Nighy.

Those are three wildly different actors.

Young Anakin - Joel Courtney

I'm curious why you'd cast an actor with one credit in a film that's not even out yet. Have you seen him do community theater?

I couldn't decide on Palpatine, so I pick them all thinking they could all give a different but equily good performance.

His few bits in the Super 8 trailer were a screen test enough for me.  It's hard to think of child actors who aren't completely terrible.

Excuse me but you and I are not on good enough terms for you to make jokes about my mom.

Especially lame mom jokes.

Oh, and how might one get on good terms with TV's Frink?

Do I get a little punch card for every smart ass comment directed in my general direction and for every 100 punches I get a free dig.

Have I made a personal joke at your expense?  I certainly haven't made an offensive comment about your mom.

I see two possibilities regarding your comment:

1) You were serious about my mom
2) You were making a joke about my mom

I can't imagine it was #1, correct me if I'm wrong and I'll remind you personal attacks are not allowed by the rules of the forum.

Assuming it was #2, my point is that mom jokes are traded amongst friends.  You and I are not friends.  Therefore, don't joke about my mom.

/off-topic rant

Also...

My mom will be playing the part of Padme in this new Star Wars movie.
