Summer of 69er^She lost her baby fat and went from strangely hot to simply plain.

My Heather Langenkamp avatar has decided to go on an extended vacation and may not be back for sometime. Not to worry, though, for she will be back - eventually.

Hand Of JudgmentOn a related note; For me, she was her prettiest in 1977. Every time I see a picture of her from back then (in costume or behind the scenes), I'm shocked at just how beautiful she really was. Particularly with her hair down. The gold bikini was nice alright, but it was just a ratings grab. It distracted from how naturally pretty she really was.

Hehe, awesome!
There is no lingerie in space...
C3PX said: Gaffer is like that hot girl in high school that you think you have a chance with even though she is way out of your league because she is sweet and not a stuck up bitch who pretends you don't exist... then one day you spot her making out with some skinny twerp, only on second glance you realize it is the goth girl who always sits in the back of class; at that moment it dawns on you why she is never seen hanging off the arm of any of the jocks... and you realize, damn, she really is unobtainable after all. Not that that is going to stop you from dreaming... Only in this case, Gaffer is actually a guy.

Jeffrey Ross at a roast took a few shots at Fisher:
Ross: Carrie Fisher I feel the Force is very strong with you... The force of gravity.
Carrie make yourself comfortable, chain yourself to Rosanne Barr's chair.
Rosanne Barr then chimes in: I don't get that.
Ross explains: It's a fucking Star Wars joke.

Some of the CF jokes from the Roseanne roast:

and the CF set was a lot about her drug use. some of the non-drug stuff:

I am ready for the trials! It's real. Carrie wore an exaggerated version of the buns for her SNL appearance.

carrie was lovely but she sure is short! Harrison towers over her!! anyway, hope she's doing alright now. we all heard stories about robert downey Jrs problems but Carrie's life was really out of control for years.

I am ready for the trials! It was an extra on "The War of The Stars". The actual episode is on the SNL season three DVD set, IIRC.
Carrie's one woman show "Wishful Drinking" is well worth checking out on DVD.
