Canopus ADVC Devices....which one would be best for me....

I am running Windows XP Pro on an HP laptop with a Dual Core AMD processor....which Canopus ADVC device would be more than suitable for me to convert LD projects for my home viewing?

I'm thinking ADVC55 or ADVC110.....

Consider the older ADVC100.  Most of them have an undocumented feature that enables you to bypass macrovision copy protection.

I found mention of "holding the setup" button for like 20 seconds to bypass this....is that correct?
