Just throwing this idea out there

anyone have the time and tech to preserve the unrated cut of Candyman?

The unrated version was only released in Europe (IIRC) but all DVD and Blu-ray editions are mastered from the R rated cut

The unrated version can be found on this Laserdisc edition

according to DVDcompare yes. both the UK LD and VHS were unrated. pretty sure it was unrated in Germany as well
