Where does one get silver or gold paper? Does it work only with certain types of printers?

So...I've started playing around with a custom cover set for the eventual release.  Not necessarily because it will suck (though if it's anything like that godawful DVD release artwork...) but because it's fun to do.

I've decided to use Whalen's fantastic art for the front, and then find a matching tone for the back out of McQuarrie's paintings.

Thanks to Darth Solo for the high res art for the back.

Not sure what else to do for the text on the back; not sure what else is needed.  The spines will all match, but I haven't figured out what I'm going to do with them just yet.

It rocks. What a pity if all the blue-ray cases are to be blue though (notably this blue).

The program I use to get that view has an option to use any color case, but alas there are no black cases anywhere online that I can find for purchase.  Clear might be the answer.  Alternatively, when all of your blu rays are lined up together, the cases themselves tend to "disappear."

ABC--I tend to agree, but I also think that the bold color is another "character."  I chose the Tusken Raider because the orange of the cover reminded me of the orange in that print.

So I hate to sacrifice that for a blander color palette.  There are a lot of nice "blue" ESB paintings to choose from though, so I'll look around more.

Re: links to the finals...since we don't know specs or special features yet (the ones I put in are just "wishlists") I'm going to hold off on that until we get some kind of announcement.

The idea is for the discs to have a blue rim around them, to help them stand out from regular DVDs.

It helps you design around different disc hub options like; small, large, and LightScribe. It also helps you plan around a text area that that it available on HP direct to disc printers like I have.
