i registered for the explicit purpose of trying to acquire a copy of this. Has it been delayed or something? reading through previous posts it looks like it was ready to drop about 3 months ago ... but the video has been pulled from youtube and i'm sure they're giving the editor all sorts of hell if they were able to contact him.

I'd kinda like to know what his problem is and why he can't give us any kind of update. He hasn't posted here since last October when he said he was almost done with it. I see him posting all over the forum all the time including today. : (
The changes that George Lucas has made over the years to Star Wars is the equivalent of someone keying your car. On an intellectual level, you know that the car still works, and its only marred a fraction of a percent of the paintjob. On an emotional level, every time you see it, it's all you can focus on, and it makes you want to rip someone's face off.

I assume it's the fact that finishing it takes actual work, where posting around the forum is recreation. You could always private message him about it! In any case, he's not getting anything from us out of the deal, so if he takes another 5 years, he'll have been pretty generous to do it at all. (; Though I'll admit, I'd like to see it too!

Yes, I definitely agree with this but I don't recall any faneditor posting all over the forum except in his own project thread. Sorry, it just bothers me.
