That got my attention. I'll be watching this project with great interest! While I often call Blade Runner "Blade Crawler" because I find the name clever and will concede that the movie is very slow, I do enjoy it - not enough to call it a favorite, of course, but I wouldn't mind seeing an alternative cut.

Wow! This edit looks fascinating. As much as I've like other extended fan edits of Blade Runner, I've always wanted to see a whole "new take" on Blade Runner. Your edit sounds like a whole new view on Blade Runner. Can't wait!

The dailies and the alternative narration sound especially breathtaking. Out of curiosity, are you thinking of adding some visual effects of your own for this?

Nope, all of the footage represents the film as it is existed at the time of production and using only material from the original production.

All right. Actually, I was hoping that you wouldn't be adding any effects. Just wanted to make sure...

That looks pretty cool zombie, but while watching your clip it seems I have seen this before, I am pretty sure ADM did this to but it was one of the files I was not supposed to upload, I will have to get it out and look at it again.

This sounds really interesting, I'd definitely like to see it when it's done.

I'm just curious, what are the tech specs of this project? I understand you're using DVD? Will you be colour correcting the sources to match together? From what I saw (I never did a direct comparisson, but I watched all the versions short of the US cut) the colourtiming is quite different on the final cut than the other versions.

And also will you be cropping the workprint to be the same AR as the rest?

Sorry if this has already been discussed before, I skipped through the thread but didn't read everything thoroughly.

The final product will be a DVD with 2.0 sound (as the deleted scenes are 2.0).

Couldn't you upmix the 2.0 to 5.1? then you could keep the main DD 5.1 audio, this is how I do my edits, and I used Womble as well, but I did NOT upmix the 2.0 in Womble, it does not sound right done in womble, has an echo effect LOL.

Zombie, isn't there alternate dialog when Gaff talks to Deckard on the roof, after Batty's death?

You know of the rebellion against the Empire?

Slightly off topic I know but has anyone done a BR edit where the Leon interview exist only as the CCTV footage shown after the event so we see it as Deckard does?

Another obvious adjustment would be to add a 1 to all the dates shown and mentioned.

Even back in 1982 it was a bit daft to imagine inter-stellar travel in 2019 but when you hear the alternate voice over refer to inter-galactic travel it becomes even more bizarre (especially in 2011).

Not unless the offworld colony business was a scam to cover up culling the rich and famous or ghettoising the sick and poor in decaying cities.

2119 I can get my head around but even then it's a stretching it.

Not yet.  Stop stealing my ideas.  ;)
