Back to the Future HDTV - without DNR & EE - NEW: "80's film-look" Colour Grading (Help Wanted)

The Blu-rays of the trilogy have bad DNR and EE. Maybe, if someone has a HDTV version with better quality like these (http://www.avsforum.com/avs-vb/showthread.php?p=19377701) send me PMs, please.

Bonus: I'm interested in the TV-Edited versions, with funny redubbing like : "Son of a Butthead!"

I'd love to get HDTV versions too. My kids love the BttF movies, but I'd rather not have all the profanity.

You know of the rebellion against the Empire?

Yeah, for the TV-Edited version, all I need is the audio.

But for the alternate takes and the digitally altered imagery, I'll need the video too... With better quality than YouTube

The versions I just downloaded from Tehparadox look good to me.  I'd be interested to see what you think of them.  Here's the link:

The changes that George Lucas has made over the years to Star Wars is the equivalent of someone keying your car. On an intellectual level, you know that the car still works, and its only marred a fraction of a percent of the paintjob. On an emotional level, every time you see it, it's all you can focus on, and it makes you want to rip someone's face off.

I'll never understand why the movie studios think they improve the picture with DNR and EE. It's horrible.

Thank you, You_Too, for the links. If anyone wants BTTF trilogy without DNR and EE, send me PM.

Believe it or not, the majority of the population does not notice how bad it looks.

Case in point, look at how long it took for anybody to notice it in Star Wars.

I don't tink that the SW OT suffers from DNR. Lowry's grain reduction keeps natural details.

I meant the GOUT.

Edit: Nevermind, you mean "the waxy look", right?

Would be nice to have some non-DNR and EE ridden versions of these movies. I have the Blu-ray set, and while it's not bad in part 1 (I'd even say it's a solid transfer overall), it's very noticeable in parts 2 and 3...especially 2. You know things are bad when you see rain disappear like magic due to excessive DNR.

There's still a surprising amount of people who don't notice, or don't think it looks that bad =|

I was showing a few people those stills from The Phantom Menace BD, and I got quite a few people who needed an explanation as to what was wrong with it >_<

I know... When I show to the "normal people" the comparision (HDTV vs Blu-ray) they prefer the Blu-ray. XD

Checking lddb.com, I can't find any BTTF laserdiscs with AC3 (5.1) tracks.

What about the colour timing of the DVDs and Blu-rays? Are they theatricaly acurate?
I've found a theater capture... I don't know...

Wait... where did you find a theater capture?! It looks pretty good from that screencap. I don't know how accurate the DVD/BD is to that but... how did you get that if you don't mind me asking?
