Well - the game had its "moments" but to be honest it pretty much sucked

Does anybody have the GERMAN version of TNG Season 4 Blus?

http://trekcore.com/blog/2013/09/the-trek-not-taken-tng-best-buy-exclusive-vam-lands-on-german-s4-release/

I'd REALLY love to get my hands on The Trek Not Taken - this is EXACTLY what I was hoping to find on my Season 1 box :-( And I feel a bit cheated that I can't have it because I bought the UK version and not the German version :-(

Hate to self-promote, but my blog has just published an essay on McCoy's daughter, character who several times almost made it to the screen.

Please, by all means, self-promote!  I want to know when you update the blog, and I check this thread often.  I'll take a look at what you've done :)

The ROTJ collaborative thread is a wealth of ideas, both on how to edit Return of the Jedi, as well as how to collaborate in an edit.  Emanswfan has taken leadership of the project.

Your blog is self-aware?  Well that's not good...
Well I've also got a blog that posts things for me via queue. . . I've actually got to fill that thing up again as it's running low. Been neglecting it...

Saw STID. Have questions. So Carol Marcus and Kahn are both weapon designers for daddy, they never knew each other in the beforetime? Is that why daddy wanted to blast the guy? :p I love that Kirk had a kickass StarFleet mom. Did she have some special abilities that had her sent out? No flashbacks or walk-ons to help push Kirk forward? The one torpedo that  freaked out Scotty, was that the one stuffed with unethical protomatter? :p

Louise Fletcher?  Don't you mean Bibi Besch?

Not that that is going to stop you from dreaming... Only in this case, Gaffer is actually a guy.

RE: All Things Star Trek

Ever wondered what Kirk's pain was and why he refused to share it with Sybock?

Me neither.

But I suddenly developed a theory: In TVH, Kirk travels to the late 1980s, a time shortly before the Eugenics War and Khan's rise to power.  If Kirk had intervened with Khan's power grab, he never would have encountered him in the 23rd century, never would have had the chaos with the Genesis device and the creation of the Genesis planet in the Mutara sector.  His son would not have become entangled with hostile Klingons and would not have been killed.  You see, the premature death of the tyrant Khan would have ultimately saved his son!  But Kirk realizes that his pain is what makes him what he is.  So it's okay that he forgot to kill Khan while picking up some whales.

^Ugly as sin.

God doesn't think in terms of black or white - or even shades of gray - but in big, bright, bold hues of blue and orange.

That is just like watching the movie, only not very enjoyable.

The comic is pretty bad. They cut a lot of scenes, and the art (for the most part) is pretty bad. They make Spock melt during the death scene!!

Is this a recent adaptation? Doesn't look like the old DC comic at all.

Yes, Twenty seven years after the movie, "Star Trek II: The Wrath of Khan", was released in comic book format by IDW Publishing.

First Issue  #1 - June 2009   -  Last  #3 - July 2009
