Not going to wade into that one. Let old blood feuds die.  ;)

B5 fans seem to be a bitter bunch. When I left the B5 reunion at the PHXCC some dude was all, "Yeah did you notice how none of those trek nerds dared show their face at the panel?" He was very hostile toward anything Trek related.

I guess I'm not that surprised since Stracyznski seems to enjoy fanning the flames.

Life's too short for such nonsense. I like both shows anyway.

Same here!  Mr. Bester is one of the best recurring guest villains IMHO.

Both shows haven't aged well.

The macho crap in B5 does tarnish it's sparks of brilliance.

The incidental music in DS9 is torture.

The fates of the spin offs haven't helped the B5 legacy either (the kung-fu gun control in Legend Of The Rangers is the most silliest thing I've seen in a television show).

B5 had some amazingly framed moments though.

Faith of the Heart. Ugh.

This is not a lightsaber. Nor a euphemism.

I'm just getting into B5 now. Was never interested when it originally aired. But after hearing Bruce Boxleitner talk about the show and his experiences last year I decided I should check it out. I then proceeded to forget to do so until this year. After attending the B5 reunion I finally got around to diving in. =P

After season 3 of Enterprise a in house catchphrase was, "Poor He-She they hurt Him-Her".

B5 is a great show, the only problem are the incredibly fake looking CGI effects. They looked fake even in the 90's

They looked a bit odd in the first season but I swear they were really impressive after that at the time.

The Amiga/toaster was only used for the original version of the pilot which is as rarely seen as the original version of Star Wars these days.

Foundation Imaging who worked on the first three seasons went on to work on Star Trek from then on.

Staff members went on to work on NuGalactica.

Many years ago, I used to chat online with someone who worked at Foundation when they did the TMP Director's Edition. They were loaned the original movie Enterprise miniature to study for the new shots. Even though the model had been stored in a crate, it was dusty and covered in insect droppings! The photos I was allowed to see of the big E in that state were a little sad.
Now realize that they sold ALL of the models to heaven knows who. Because they could be anywhere in any state. That makes me very sad.

I mean, look at the freaking Galileo 7:

Noonien Soong was a dirty, dirty man. And his name wasn't that original, either.

God doesn't think in terms of black or white - or even shades of gray - but in big, bright, bold hues of blue and orange.

Ah, Robot Chicken ... a truly mixed bag of Dadaist brilliance and stupid toilet humour if ever there was one.
