Welcome! This sounds like a good start.

What do you have planned for Anakin's turn? I've always found it to be a very weak moment. In fact, I think you could say it ruins the entire movie for me.

Do you mean the scene with Mace, Palpatine and Anakin? 

I've got some pretty serious plans for that part, but I'm not sure if I can do them, so I won't get anybody's hopes up.



Videos are definitely on their way. I'm rendering something huge at the moment, but I'll work on getting some videos up ASAP.   

This shot occurs in a different place in my edit - I edited in a moving background and camera movement to match.

The reason for this (temporary) effect is for continuity in my edit.

Mouth replacement. I cut out Padme's lines, but the shot was essential.

Face replacement.

Just letting people know I'm making lots of progress, and I'll have videos up in the next few hours!

In the meantime, I've made numerous more changes.

UPDATE:

New changes include...

-Restructured and repaired Obi-Wan vs. Grievous. New effects and everything. No more "OH I DON'T THINK SO!", less hand chopping.

-Removed Kit Fisto and Eeth Koth from LAAT/i when Mace Windu goes to arrest Palpatine

-Heavily repaired Mace Windu vs. Palpatine

-Anakin participates in the murder of Windu to a greater extent (Way more taken with the Dark Side)

-Removed spoken Darth Vader references

-March on the Jedi Temple has an interesting twist ;)

-Removed Obi and Yoda storming the Temple

-Streamlined Obi-Wan and Yoda's plotting. 

NEW PLANNED CHANGES:

-Restructure Bail Organa intercepting Obi-Wan's message. This will require me to film new material entirely.

-Making new 3D environment for Yoda vs. Sideous. Gives me much more flexibility in fixing the battle.

A temp effect like you said i hope :)

This shot needs more work to make the perspective and the light comes realisticaly and blend with the rest.

Yeah, I definitely agree. That's really just a placeholder until I finish a 3D set piece that will blend more realistically.

wow, I really like your ideas of changing even the most subtle details (e.g. Padme's facial expression). I'll definitely be keeping up on the progress of this project. Keep up the awesome work!

Excited to see video footage.

I'm really not that skilled with 3D modeling. I use Anim8or, which is basically the MS Paint of 3D modeling. (But it can look pretty good with some work and photoshop)
It'd be great if somebody could help me out with some 3D shots.

Impressive, most impressive.

Just a few suggestions:

Keep Vader's identity a secret. You could do this by letting anakin "burn till death" on mustafar so the audience thinks he really died. Later at the very end of the movie, we see a new apprentice (Darth Vader) so the audience thinks that palpy only used anakin to form his new empire and he didn't really care if he died because he had Vader under his sleeve.

Not naming luke nor leia and not give away where leia will end up. Just cut the line.

Make Sidious identity less obvious. Maybe put a shadow on his face and lowering his voice. This could also be use if you are planning on doing the other prequels(which would be cool if you do).

Maybe redubbing general griveous to be a more badass character and less coward (vader style maybe). And maybe mention that he really is Maul reconstructed as a cyborg so he could have a much more interesting backstory with ObiWan. It'll be awesome if you could make Griveous death more epic because the current one is kinda lame.

In general just try to make things match more with the OT please.

I love your suggestion about making the audience think that Vader is a different guy from Anakin. I was afraid I'd have to cut Vader in armour at the end of the movie, but that could work really well - especially if I took other Vader lines for his conversation with Sidious at the end. 

Grievous will definitely be more BA. He doesn't get his hands cut off and his voice will be more menacing. (Still working on voice) 
But given the source footage, it's a little difficult to make him die in a more epic fashion.  

I'm working in HD.  

And don't you worry! Making it match the OT is one of my highest goals.

Yeah, youtube's been really crazy about videos these days. 

My last Star Wars video there got blocked too.
