If the topic was for another person with no personnal relationships or background around, you would have just believe what one person told you without evidence (edit) a question.

That is far more amazing to me than to think you could have been told a lie.

Immaturity is not an insult and you may be more mature than me on many things related to our respective lives. I'm aware the above statement may sound condescending toward the mass who replied to Jay's call but it's not, and certainly not a reason for insulting me in return. That was certainly not a comparison between "me" and "you".

I've no doubt Jay will think twice next time someone publicly announces serious help needed through donations, and everybody will be able to know exactly what they're doing.

Actually I wished to point out that if somebody lied to you in this matter, he's far to be the main responsible of all this, neitheir is Warbler to have created this topic besides. I think everyone is responsible here for giving credits to words. That's all. Now, if it's to hard to face I'm sorry.

PS: and again, I really think the creation of a dedicated section for big cases as medical or financial help would show it concerns more than one person here.

That wasn't my attention at all - I meant if you lie about something, it'll catch up with you in the end - that's what I meant by the Karma comment. And how dare you insinuate that I would wish cancer on anyone, especially after I posted that I know people that have died from it (people I loved). I'm awaiting an MRI result myself...

This whole situation is a mess, as is this thread. I gave a donation in good faith. The next day it's apparently refunded. I go onto the forums and read all about this situation. A situation to me that smells fishier by the minute I have to say. So far no proof has yet been posted - I know if it was me in this situation I'd go and get some scannable proof asap to clear this up like a docs note or something especially since its gotten to the stage of donations/refunds...

I think people understand your attitude, even if they do not always understand everything you write.  Your posts come across as condescending. In the past I have tended to give you the benefit of the doubt, even when you have obviously been annoying others, but your posts in this thread have really set my teeth on edge, to the point where you are one step away from my ignore list.  Please think about how you respond to other people, especially in situations such as this.

Regarding the situation with Dayv, I didn't donate because I didn't feel that I was in a position to know whether he has cancer or not, which is still how I feel.  I wish him good health, because either way I cannot go wrong with that.

There's a kind of a rant tone through some of my posts here, cause the actual situation confirms my thoughts since the beginning of this previously sticky thread (overall revealed by reactions after DAYV's friend inputs) . Lie or truth is secondary question: the way this affair has been exposed was a mistake. If I said what I thought since the beginning it would have been a true warning but I'd have been insulted and perhaps even banned right away. I think what you perceive as condescendance is rather passion. But this damn keyboard won't let you know exactly the real "me" I'm affraid.

Thank you for this intelligible address though. Whatever I think for myself I'm taking a note of your post.

I totally agree. And you never know how things you do strikes you back... It's always a 'surprise'. The offender always arms himself the more in the end, that's what I think and that's why I'm sorry Warb took it wrong when I said he doesn't need to spend his anger and hate if he may have been fooled. I can't wish you peace a more sincere way folks.
