I don't know what to say. Dayv has been a friend for the longest time for me.

TO MAKE MATTERS WORSE I JUST MOVED INTO A NEW APARTMENT LAST WEEKEND.  IT'S NOT THE BEST OF AREAS, BUT I'VE SEEN WORSE.  I WENT OUT TO THE PARKING LOT TO GO GET IN MY CAR AND HEAD INTO WORK.  MY CAR WAS GONE.  YES, THAT'S RIGHT.  MY CAR WAS STOLEN.  WE DON'T HAVE PUBLIC TRANSPORTATION ON MY SIDE OF TOWN, OR I WOULD TAKE THE BUS TO WORK.  HOWEVER, I'M A DELIVERY DRIVER, AND I USE MY CAR FOR WORK.  SO IT WOULDN'T MATTER IF THERE WAS A BUS I COULD TAKE OR NOT.

I JUST CAN'T BELIEVE THIS.  IT'S ONE THING AFTER ANOTHER.  TALK ABOUT WANTING TO GIVE UP.  I'VE BEEN FIGHTING AS HARD AS I CAN FOR THE LAST TWO YEARS, AND WHAT FIGHT WAS LEFT IN ME HAS JUST VANISHED.  

That's just unbelievable. Completely. I've been catching up on the forums and wanted to express my sentiments, but that is just too much.

Wow. Not the time, at all. Dayv's caps may get on your nerves, but save that for a thread that's not as serious as this.

DarkGryphon2048, you should pray that you are never in DAYV's present situation, rather than being a total arse about something as trivial as his trademark caps.  Unbelievable, and I'd certainly give you the ban-hammer for that if it was up to me.

DAYV, as others have said, I reckon the majority of us here are kinda stunned about your situation.  But please know that we're all rooting for you, and I hope you can pick yourself up for the sake of your nearest and dearest.  Just know that there's lots of people here who actually DO give a shit about situations like this.  Take care in the meantime.

DAYV, our paths haven't crossed very often, but I've always enjoyed reading your posts, and words can't express how bad I feel about your plight. My sympathies, and my prayers, are with you...

I HAVE SOME GOOD NEWS, GUYS.  I WAS ABLE TO RETRIEVE MY CAR.  I'M SO THANKFUL FOR THAT.  I WOULD'VE LOST MY PROMOTION AT WORK IF NOT MY JOB ALTOGETHER HAD I NOT GOT MY CAR BACK.  OH, NOTHING IS MISSING FROM IT.  

ABOUT darkgryphon, HE'S JUST STATING HIS OPINION ABOUT ME.  IT'S A FREE COUNTRY.  WAS IT INAPPROPRIATE AT THE TIME?  SURE, BUT I'M NOT MAD OR UPSET IN ANY WAY OVER IT.

I'M CURRENTLY RESIDING IN PLANO, TX.  MY CAR WAS UNDAMAGED.  THE POLICE HANDLED THE SITUATION BY NOT HAVING TO HANDLE IT.  APPARENTLY, I HAD PARKED IN A FIRE ZONE.  IT WAS DARK WHEN I PARKED MY CAR, AND THERE WERE EVEN CARS TO EITHER SIDE OF MINE.  IT LOOKED LIKE A LEGITIMATE PLACE TO PARK.  A TOWING COMPANY PICKED MY CAR OUT OF ALL OF THE VIOLATORS, AS I'M GUESSING, BECAUSE MY CAR WAS THE SMALLEST AND EASIEST TO TAKE OFF WITH IN A HURRY.  HELL, IF I WERE WORKING FOR A TOWING COMPANY, AND IN THAT SITUATION, I WOULD'VE DONE THE SAME THING.  IT WAS RIGHT AT $200.00 TO GET MY CAR BACK.
