Don't know much (well really anything) about the second hand film print scene (would like to, just for the stories. do these people hang out somewhere?) but would guess from time to time one does surface in those circles. (everything else tends to) Searching through old news articles, not finding any mentions of lost/stolen/pirated prints from 1997.
