My 1997' SE laserdisc transfer set - including extras.... (Released)

hi guys was wondering if any of you experts can help me out,i just finished transferring and encoding my Star Wars 97’ Special Edition LD set to DVD(4 disc set)and i am sending a set to Rikter (tomorrow july 1st,priority mail)for a fancy menu and to put the chapter points in the correct place,but i also created a set for myself with my own menu and background music,but with the generic chapter points,my question is can i send a set to one of you guys to put the chapter points in the correct spots for my set?
and when Rikter gets done we will share these with everyone.

i would post screenshots but dont know how you guys are getting them,i dont think the movies look to bad myself, and Rikter seems to like them too,so hopefully you guys will like them as well.

just an update i just watched the set i am gonna send to Rikter tomorrow on my 62' hidef widescreen tv,and sound through a high end yamaha reciever and these look and sound fantastic i hope all you guys like the discs.
i just wish i could figure out these damn chapter points,but the generic points on my set are ok because i dont really use this feature anyway.

Okay - I should have these soon and I will be authoring them with new basic menus and cover art - I do like how these look and sound also and for what they are it sure is darn cool to see the REAL SE and not my busted up VHS tapes

davidian on this set i used DVDit professional edition and Adobe Audition for the sound,TMPGEnc Plus for encoding and Scenalyzer Live for capturing,but i also have,TMPGEnc DVD Author,Adobe Encore DVD,and also Ulead DVD Workshop but do not know how to use these yet.
oh and i forgot i use VirtualDub to cut and join the AVI files.

OK cool, well chapter points are a sinch with Adobe Encore, you can even set a poster frame for each chapter and create motion menus with chapter animations, background audio and other groovy stuff too.

Just wondering... is there a big demand for these dvds? Also wants on the bonus disc?

I certainly would want them. Sure the SE was crap, but its good to have the O-SE, not the new SE. I see it this way, some people grew up with the SE, others, and luckily me, grew up with the Originals.

It's worthwhile preserving the OSE (not as worthwhile as the OOT - but still, there were a fair number of changes made to the trilogy for the 2004 DVDs). Anyway, I too would like to know what the contents of the Bonus disc are.

the bonus disc contains ALL the bonus footage of the laserdisc set,there is a SE trailer for each film,and there is the making of the SE Trilogy on there as well,all accessible by the menu.

That does help.

Was just wondering though, is the "Making of the SE" split into 3 parts - one for each movie? I seem to recall a set of the SE that I owned on video, that had a making of at the beginning of each tape. I always thought each one was different, in that they had a part for each movie. Can somebody clear this up for me please?

no, the making of the SE that i have on the DVD, is just 1 show for the entire SE.

i recall those VHS, and if I recall correctly, there is a separate making-of for each film.

however, i'm sure the version on the LD is just a combination of the three into one featurette. my guess would be that there may be quite subtle differences but nothing substantial.

thats no big deal davidian, i just sent you Blade Runner Criterion,so you can take my authored dvd's and remove the generic chapters and put them in where they are supposed to be?and then make a copy and return,you keep a set as well.
