Maybe the GKAR set is missing more frames throughout than the other three.
It has be, something is really different using this as the source(I am GLAD this was NOT the source for the other 2), I am going to try a few more things today and see if I can figure this out, if not, I may just have to use TB for the source.

Thanks for the updates, did ANH and Empire turn out any good for you? I stand ready with the subs for Jedi, just so you know. ;)
We want you to be aware that we have no plans—now or in the future—to restore the earlier versions.

Dark Jedi KnightOK now I is HAPPY!, I figured it out and got it to work, because I surely did NOT want to use TB for the base, GKAR looks waaaay better, so this will be ready soon, msycamore thanks for standing by, i will be contacting you very soon.
I want to finish this SE set first since I am still waiting on things for the GOUT v3 set, now all we need is the Jedi script when g-force perfects it and hairy_hens updated Jedi 5.1 and then we are set.

"Hooch IS crazy!"What was up with the GKAR that it was giving you problems?

Dark Jedi KnightThe audio, I have NO idea what was up with it but I could do nothing with it, I couldn't even sync it up to itself, the audio on ALL the GKAR releases suck, I have no idea if it was screwed up in encoding, authoring or what, but I just could not get it to work, but ALL other DVB broadcast versions sync'd right up, no issues at all in the NTSC conversion.
So basically I edited out all the hard subbed German parts with the TB obviously, then I matched the frames up to the TB and now I can use the NTSC converted TB Jedi audio to sync this bitch up with the LD DD 5.1, what a pain in the ass this one turned out to be, but I like how this one looks.

Dark Jedi KnightI agree, and I finally got my audio woes figured out so GKAR is definitely going to be the base for this one.

Should have guessed GL wouldn't release the REAL OT on BR...The TB has less detail and a bit less colour from what I can see. GKAR is definitely what you should use.

The GKAR English audio is just F'd up, so I matched the GKAR video to the TB and now I am going to use the TB audio to sync the 5.1 to the GKAR video, I know it is kind of cunfusing.

Dark Jedi KnightHere is my Monday update, I am finishing up the 5.1 audio on ANH and ESB now, video is done and encoded, then while waiting on the subs from msycamore for Jedi I will start the 5.1 sync job for Jedi, so hopefully these will ALL be done by the end of the week, then on to GOUT V3, then all Star Wars projects are done and I can quit.

Jedi KnightDoes anyone actually still have the G'Kar set no longer have the discs, wish i had held onto them.
Then all my other sets that were not on Verbatim DL, or Taiyo SL, are all now rotters, specially the stuff on Sony media, ritek, and the worst of all Bulpaq generation 4 worst rotters ever.
One day i spent about five hours trying to recover a disc, after about a thousand read sector errors i gave up.

I am ready for the OOT!I still have the Gkar set. About 4 years ago, I made copies of the original discs I was sent. My copy of ROTJ still seems to be good, but I haven't double checked the other discs.
You know of the rebellion against the Empire?

Gkar looks very nice, i will most likely not try and do much with the 97 since the LD cant match that. Would be interesting to see them side by side tho, just for the hell of it. And take out the dolby theatrical intros (the canyon, temple etc)

If you would check i would be greatful. Even if all you have is Jedi.

Is there any easy way to check on a computer without actually watching the whole thing?
