On the Episode I Bonus DVD, the doumentaries have references to the OT complete with the OT footage. What does this come from? This must mean that masters exist somehow-unless these are the 97 masters.

They are the '97 versions, including Greedo shooting first. But they look pretty crappy.

Empire of Dreams mostly used '97 footage and that looked pretty good. Right in the beginning of that is the lightsabers crossing as they should look.
