Does anyone think it would be a good idea to summarize, on a weekly basis, what progress was made and what ideas were shared for ESB: Revisited or any of Adywan's Revisited edits for that matter? It seems to be originaltrilogy.com's most prolific thread, and, after 876 pages, it is easy to forget what happened and what decisions have been made. Perhaps someone could summarize at the end of each week what was discussed and conclusions reached so that way it is easy to keep track of all discussions within the thread and not inadvertently start discussing things already discussed. The summaries would make everything more orderly.
I'm interested to hear what everyone else thinks. Feel free to disagree.
That sounds like a great idea. I don't keep up with the thread... but everyone once in a while I'd like to know what's going on. A weekly digest would let know the most important stuff and would let me know if I need to go read more on any given subject.
The only question is: ...Who's going to do it?
I nominate Frink.
But I'm one of the people that makes it so hard to keep track of...or so I'm told....from time to time.
I disrespectfully decline the nomination.
So, is anyone up for keeping track of the Adywan ESB: Revisited thread? I personally can't because some of the stuff discussed there goes way over my head, so I can't really summarize it clearly. If anyone wants/is willing to do it, just say so.
If you're on Facebook, the ESBR group has a summary done by Ganamae every month or so.
If we want something here, I suppose I could do it. I wonder if the mods can make a thread only one person can write on, so it doesn't end up replicating the same arguments.
Or I could just do it on my blog (which I make no money on, so I'm not driving traffic there for profit).
Moth3r, what do you think?
I guess we don't need this idea anymore. Thank you so much, doubleofive. If you want summaries of ESB: Revisited. Go here. It's doubleofive's website.
I've disabled all commenting on that site so that if anyone wants to discuss anything, they have to come here. I will not forget the site that spawned the craze (y).
Thanks a tonne, 005!
Wait, how long do I have to wait for the ESB:R facts to compile. It's been 10 minutes already!
*glare* I'll get to it, I'll get to it.xhonzi said:
