OK guys, my friend & I were having adiscussion about who followed the Jedi Code better, Qui-Gon or Yoda. We couldn't convince each other either way, so we're putting the questio to you- which Jedi follows the Jedi Code best?
Ikrit followed it best.
Where is the Jedi code described?
This probably isn't the best site for this discussion, as "Qui-Gon" is barely acknowledged as a Star Wars character around here. ;-)
Yeah, apparently Jar Jar is more popular than Qui-Gon in these parts and it ain't because people like him more.....LMMFAO .......sad indeed.
Sorry guys, I should've had this in my original post. The Jedi Code is:
There is no emotion, there is peace.
There is no ignorance, there is knowledge.
There is no passion, there is no serenity.
There is no death, there is the Force.
^ according to this: http://starwars.wikia.com/wiki/Jedi_Code that's the mantra.
The Jedi Code is:
Join the Jedi, see the Galaxy!
(See your local recruitment office)
Oh, wait, I think that's their advertisement slogan. Where is that dang code?
Ah, here it is:
I must not fear.
Fear is the mind-killer.
Fear is the little-death that brings total obliteration.
I will face my fear.
I will permit it to pass over me and through me.
And when it has gone past I will turn the inner eye to see its path.
Where the fear has gone there will be nothing.
Only I will remain.
I'm pretty sure it's actually:
The Wookiees lead to recalibration.
Recalibration leads to the future.
The future leads to the Wookiees.
I sense the Wookiees in you.
My mistake. But few realize the importance of the Jedi Law:
On my honor, I will do my best
to do my duty to the Force and the Republic,
and to obey the Jedi law.
To help other people at all times,
To keep myself physically strong,
mentally awake and morally straight
The last statement about being "morally straight" is a subtle reference to Star Trek, i.e. humpback whales--I believe there has been some controversy regarding this statement, as some demand that the Jedi allow such whales into their ranks, while the other side wants nothing to do with Star Trek.
No, no, no, no, no! You guys got it all wrong! That's not the Jedi Code! Not at all! I don't know what school you guys attended, but it's obvious they suck, 'cause you guys surely don't have your facts straight.
Here is the real Jedi Code.
Only two lightsaber colours are there - blue and green - no more, no less (unless you happen to be an overrated douchbag of no importance whatsoever; in that case, you can choose purple).
Jedi use the Force for attack, never for knowledge or defense; of the non-ADHD crowd are they.
Jedi must not deal in absolutes; only Sith deal in absolutes.
I want to laugh every time someone talks about Star Trek IV anymore, but the joke would take way too long to explain.
