Original Theatrical Version - Pokemon: Mewtwo Strikes Back (!)

The R2 DVD has:
* Japanese 5.1 and 2.0 DD
* English 5.1 and 2.0 DD (essentially the dub mix with the original title card music)
* English captions (dubtitles)
* Japanese subtitles for the English dub (!)
Credits are in Japanese. (Actually the ending of the OGM is DVD-sourced, as the HK lacked it!)
Along with the added CG the Mewtwo origin was tacked onto the beginning of the movie. (The full version of this is ALSO available on the "Mewtwo Returns" Region 1 DVD, in English only.)

Now that I have the laserdisc I should really redo it, but I'm kind-of holding out until I can find someone to do a new translation (...other people get very mad when I use their subs!)

AFAICT, it's 2 sides CLV for the movie, with the Pikachu's Summer Vacation short along with it, and some interview. Reasonable quality, although my initial rip was a bit too colorful when compared against the more subdued tones of the R2.

Some news on my front.
I'm not familiar with the deal of capping on Windows or with heavy cleanup filters, but I have a raw unfiltered lossless rip of the second half of the movie that's in reasonably good shape, albeit very, very noisy. I'm going to still see what I can do. For some reason I lose a lot more frames capping the front of the disc.
Also, lol msmooth.

I actually have the original 2D version of Mewtwo Strikes Back that I found some time ago on this Japanese video site called Youku. The quality is kind of low (possibly VHS) and there are Japanese subtitles in the video, but it's definitely the original version.
