several weeks ago, i mentioned it at the beginning of the 'now' star wars reel 6 thread..
also, there was some talk of trailers in the ESB thread.. it was all over the place..
that's why i made this thread to just talk about trailers..
and even though its the SE, someday far in the future, it could be a reference
for colors for the OT return of the jedi?

Another 35mm thread. Awesome. Have to bookmark this one too.
Id rather go with Laserdisc than 35mm i already have the set that i want and thats the unaltered set even with the special editions!
I'd rather go with 35s and 70s myself, given a way to scan them in
next up...
a 35mm trailer for star wars ..
(why can't i find it on youtube?)..
coming very soon..

oh my *#*$#$*#(*&(#& stupid computer, and scanner...
***** OFF TOPIC - RANT *****************************************
now, i know where half my problems are coming from,
the stupid driver for the scanner kept causing my computer to lock up,
and i then i had to go back and fix Xp from service pack 3-> back to 2,
and then had to reinstall software again, along with a lot of other things.
then for the last 2 days, i couldn't get the computer to recognize the
scanner, no matter what, the drivers just wouldn't work...
well, the last place i checked (which should have been the first), was the
hp site, and sure enough when i just installed the drivers, instead of
their stupid software it finally worked..
OK, now that's over with..
back to the semi-regular program

***************************NOTE**********************
first of all, my colors are way off in the beginning, since i'm not
sure what needed to be done, looks like it has a red 'tint' to it..
the beginning part is full frame, and the rest is
'pillar boxed', with the widescreen image in
the center..
the trailers stars off with an explosion.
zooming in

Fullscreen & letterboxed... tv promo? That could be kinda rare. Yah, I'm not up on my SW trailer lore, either.

Seriously, though, how often does the manufacturer's site actually have the answer. No wonder we fall out of the habit of looking there. :)
Wasn't that trailer already released?
#*$#*$*#)$&@*$)@$*@ again..
now my USB drives aren't working, and the install for the drivers
is stuck U@*)#$)$#)@)$&)@#&)&#@)..
sometimes i really hate computers..

i'm sure it was.. i just couldn't find the same one on youtube,
or the site with the trailers..
by the way, my memory is crazy, i never saw any trailers in the theater
or on TV for Star Wars, and i'm glad i didn't, they show way too much,
and it would have spoiled the film... i think..
