This is the first of a complete fan edit of the re-imagined Battlestar Galactica TV series. This release would fall under the "Extended Editions" category, but not all of the edits will. You should be able to find this on MININOVA.

* 00:25:35 Changed order in which scenes are played. Normally here we would see Lee landing "hands on" onto Galactica. This has been moved forward and the scene with Caprica and Baltar speaking of the successful results of the CMP project (as well as all proceeding scenes) has been placed here.
* 00:27:45 Added the final scene from the Razor webisodes where Commander Adama and Doral speak about Lee.
* 00:27:54 This scene was changed to have a closer look at Adama and Doral, which helped remove text that gave away the fact that there will be a second cylon war. Added text "Battlestar Galactica Starboard Landing Bay."

* 00:31:29 Scene where Lee lands "hands on" to Galactica reinserted.

* 00:40:24 Intercut the end of Razor Webisode 4 with fight with Leoben. This scene was one of my first ideas when deciding to do a BSG fan edit and is probably my proudest moment.
* 00:51:34 Added deleted scene where Cally and Tyrol discuss Tyrol's relationship with Boomer.

Keep in mind that a lot of other little edits were made to the deleted scenes/webisodes themselves as well as to the audio to make the transitions smooth.

For those who are wondering about video quality:

The main source is the Season 1 HD-DVDs. I also used the Razor DVD for the Webisodes and one deleted scene. All of the deleted scenes were in SD and look substantially sub-par (it's the source, not me!). There is also 8 seconds of footage taken from broadcast sources from episodes in season 3 and 4 to fill in some effects shots gaps in deleted scenes.

Added the following Avisynth filters to all video:

This helps to reduce the abundance of grain while preserving all detail. I used either a Laczos or Spline64 resize whenever resizing video.
