After making the wildly successful first Pirates of the Caribbean movie, director Gore Verbinski demonstrated how much he didn't get it by stating "You don't want just the Jack Sparrow movie..." in an interview about the planned sequels.

The editor of this project disagrees, and set out to edit all three films to improve them and turn them into the Jack Sparrow movies that they should have been.
