Background
Inspired by a love of the film 'The Empire Strikes Back', and the idea that audio commentaries could be expanded somewhat, Jambe Davdar set out to make what he calls an "audio/visual commentary" in the vein of Deleted Magic. He started the project in July 2005 and finished, 8 months later, in March 2006.

Project Details
Building Empire is an unofficial commentary to The Empire Strikes Back, offering an insight into the development and creation of film. The documentary combines video from the movie itself with behind the scenes footage, audio from the cast and crew, alternate angles, reconstructed scenes, text facts and more to give an in-depth look at the process which brought the film to the big screen.
