Good point.

Man, I really feel like my inability to download the neccesary shit for IRC is causing me to miss out on some good times.

Can you install Firefox at work? There's a plugin called Chatzilla to access IRC channels.

If you can't download at all, why not burn the installation files to a CD at home and bring it to work?

The things you pwn end up pwning you.

I work for the government. I can't do anything on these computers. I definitely can't install anything. If I could I would have photoshop running all day.

Yeah, but I still haven't seen you in the chat room.

Princess Leia: I happen to like nice men.
Han Solo: I'm a nice man.

And you likely won't. I just have never liked chatrooms and have no time to do so.

An IRC channel sounds like a good idea. More people might use it if it was announced in the other forums. I really should peek in here more often!

Maybe it's because some people are actually working, DAYV.

It could be the restrictions placed on our computers.

Princess Leia: I happen to like nice men.
Han Solo: I'm a nice man.

I was curious if this place had a chatroom, and indeed it had. It seems rather empty at the moment though.

I've joined the channel as "MSD" and'll hang around in there from time to time.

Haha, first thing that happens when I got on there was a volley of insults. I think I'm with Bossk when it comes to IRC.

Were you insulted by people who are known board members or just some random ruffians? Undernet is a lot like Mos Eisely spaceport. There are smaller more civilized IRC servers around if it becomes an issue.

Yep. The IRC is a good place to let off some steam.
